I've been looking at replacement grips, can't make up my mind on what I want.
It doesn't show up well in the pic but I stripped the factory finish off and put several coats of tung oil on the factroy grips. Look a lot better than they did.

I don't know if you can have too many guns.
I don't even know if you can have too many SA rugers.
But I know for a fact that you can't have too many .41 magnums.
Not ever.
Enjoy!

MIGHTY nice picture! :) Quite a few of the guys I shoot with say they'd rather have a .41 mag than a .44 mag.

Nope. Didn't make it out today. Couple of buddies want to go and they can't make it until tomorrow. That and the wind's blowing about 30mph.

I stripped the factory rosewood grips and stained/poly'd them in mahogany. I am going to probably end up with the gunfighter checkered grips. I have Ajax grips in faux ivory for everyday use. I found that a Belt Mountain locking basepin was a good idea. I suggest the Wolff spring kit also. I didn't put a free spin pawl in mine. I think I would like a Bisley hammer on mine though.

Great looking 'shootin' iron'. Let us know how it performs when you get a chance to pop a few rounds.

Got it to the range yesterday afternoon. Shot high and to the left at first, got it zeroed at 25 yards. Put 75 rounds or so through it, middle finger on my right hand is sore from where it kept bouncing off the trigger guard while shooting from a rest. Shooting freehand was much better. Recoil with the Blackhawk is more pleasant than the S&W M57 I used to have. I'm not as accurate with it as I should be, need more range time!

Ever shot a head of cabbage with a 210gr HP? Instant coleslaw!
Shot a coconut too, wasn't as great as I thought it would be.
Had a couple of friends show up to shoot clay pigeons, they hunt but aren't really into handguns. Neither wanted to try the 41 at first but once they did they really enjoyed it. Let 'em shoot some .357 & 45 auto too. Had a good time.
