Where is the best place to get a Mosin in excellent condition these days? My local shop has a few but they are pretty beat. Any place online known for selling excellent condition Mosin Nagants?

I've seen 5 or so bought from Classic Firearms and they were all quite nice. They do hand select for $10 more.

Aimsurplus, JGsales, and classic arms all have a good reputation for their C&R guns. I picked a few up from JG last year. They were nice. for about 110 delivered and picked up. That was after shipping and transfer fee. I think they were 89.99 back then. Think theprices are all about the same still, depending on what you want.

If you are particular, there is no substitute for buying from where you can look at it first, using the big C&R vendors as a price guide.
I've been very happy with what C&R guns I've gotten from SOG, JG Sales, & AIM after paying the extra $10 "hand select" fee.

Rather pricy, but Pat Burns has Finnish Mosins and antiques too.

I've been impressed with JG when it comes to Milsurp. My LGS are a bit high on their mosins and I can come out ahead even when you take into consideration FFL and shipping costs.

classicarms.us if they still have them . Many local gunshops have them too as they are getting more popular. Or be early at a gunshow to be able to pick the best sample.

In my opinion, these are worth a look:

Their stuff is top notch. I have a few of their goodies.

I purchased my Mosin with a laminate stock from AIM Surplus about two years ago for about $90 or so.

gunsnammo.com ..... this man sells finnish m39 mosin nagants anywere from $250.00 to $1,000.00 dollars (from wartime used to brand new military unissued) and NONE of them have a bad bore... more than you'll pay for a soviet mosin but it's easily 10 times the rifle and is a much more sound investment as it pertains to resale.
