Which one to buy, H&K or S&W

A friend of mine has passed away and his wife is selling his collection. Two of the ones that I am interested in are the H&K VP70Z and a S&W 645. I am leaning to the S&W, was just wondering what everyone thought.

First off i would like to say that i am sorry for your loss! Its always rough when this happens!! but in regards to his collection its nice to see that part of his collection is going to people that were close to him.
Getting on to the guns though...

The H&K is a nice choice and if it was the "M" version instead of the "Z" i would tell you right off the bat to get it, but since its the Z version i think that i would go with the S&W. The S&W is a great option and a welcome piece to any collection!

If you want a proven and effective service pistol, the S&W.

i really like my 645

Easy...buy both, like any good addict should do...
