Greetings

I bought one of the 1911 clones from Sarco (modelo super) and really like the round. I was looking for a destroyer carbine, but have seen zero for sale. Does anyone have one? Do you like it? What did you pay for it? (opinions welcome)

As always, thanks for the info.
Ben

They were pretty much hand made rifles the over the years have either fallen into the hands of collecters or have been broken and can't be fixed due to lack of parts.

Especially those where the owners decided that 9x19 and 9mm Largo was the same thing

Sort of reminds me of a Model 95 Mauser in miniature. Got for $89 in the 1980s. I shoot 38 Super ammo in mine. Some folks are horrified but it seems as strong as an alloy 1911 which is made in 38 Super.

I did a search before I made this thread. Its crazy another Destroyer thread started within a couple minutes.

Do you think someone would part with one for 400$

Thanks
Bera

They mostly stayed in Spain, where they were used by the Guardia Civil. Not a whole lot were exported to the USA.
