I stopped receiving instant notifications about a week ago. I've gone over my settings and they seem good to me. Can anyone help?

basicblur June 26, 2012, 02:00 AM I also stopped getting them 'bout the same time as you. CZguy June 27, 2012, 01:37 AM I also stopped getting them 'bout the same time as you. One more and we can call it a conspiracy. :D Seriously though, can anyone help? spleify June 27, 2012, 08:15 AM Yep same here. Robert June 27, 2012, 09:27 PM Try sending Derek a message. It's his duct tape and bailing wire that keeps this place running. If anyone would know it'd be him. Tim the student June 28, 2012, 02:45 AM That has happened to me in the past. I cleared out my cache, cookies etc, and all was well. Worth a shot. rc109a June 28, 2012, 10:31 PM I am having the same issues Derek Zeanah June 28, 2012, 11:16 PM Well, looks like a real issue then. I still get e-mails though. I'll see what I can figure out. Derek Zeanah June 28, 2012, 11:21 PM OK, let's see if things work better over the next couple of days. About the time y'all are talking about I installed a new backup system on the mail server. I've disabled that, so we should be able to tell if that was the problem or not. CZguy June 29, 2012, 05:26 PM That has happened to me in the past. I cleared out my cache, cookies etc, and all was well. Worth a shot. I tried that, but no joy. Thanks though! I'm hoping that Derick's magic will fix the problem. mesinge2 June 29, 2012, 10:14 PM That has happened to me in the past. I cleared out my cache, cookies etc, and all was well. Worth a shot. I tried this too, to no avail. spleify June 29, 2012, 11:08 PM Nope still not receiving them. Thanks for your work on this, and everything kokapelli June 30, 2012, 02:02 PM I have also not been receiving notifications now for about two weeks. CZguy June 30, 2012, 11:24 PM Nope still not receiving them. Thanks for your work on this, and everything I'm not receiving notifications either. Plus one on appreciation. :) CZguy July 2, 2012, 12:23 AM Still out in the cold..............it's lonely and I can hear wolves circling me. :D rc109a July 2, 2012, 09:15 AM Tried it and still nothing. mesinge2 July 2, 2012, 09:24 AM I'm not receiving notifications either. Plus one on appreciation. :) Same, and I too appreciate the hard work. Derek Zeanah July 2, 2012, 11:37 AM Looking into it in more detail now that the weekend's gone and I'm at a computer. We're not listed in any blocklists that I can tell, but I'm having trouble talking to comcast mail servers. How many of y'all that aren't seeing messages are using Comcast? (First problem I've seen -- there may be more.) basicblur July 2, 2012, 11:47 AM One on Comcast here! Derek Zeanah July 2, 2012, 11:53 AM Yep - verified. Cloudmark, not a spam blocklist but an "ip reputation remediation portal" had us flagged. Asked for removal and tried to get into their feedback loop so we'll be apprised of future problems. Now we wait... Derek Zeanah July 2, 2012, 12:14 PM Maybe the fix is in progress. We went from 1389 queued messages to about 1100, so that's some movement I guess. Mal H July 2, 2012, 12:25 PM Yep, I looked for some commonality earlier. basicblur and spleify use Comcast, others are charter.net, cox.net, and road runner. kokapelli July 2, 2012, 12:55 PM Ok it's working again! Derek Zeanah July 2, 2012, 01:00 PM Down to 468, so it's clearing. Now to hope that we got added to the feedback loop so we get notified the next time something happens. mesinge2 July 2, 2012, 01:29 PM It's working again. Thanks for the hard work!! :) CZguy July 2, 2012, 03:03 PM It's working again, thanks very much Derek. Derek Zeanah July 2, 2012, 03:06 PM Aaaand now we're down to 64, which is typical. Sorry you needed to point this out, folks. I'll see if there's a way I can set an alarm if this happens again. No promises though -- may not be possible. mesinge2 July 2, 2012, 06:25 PM Aaaand now we're down to 64, which is typical. Sorry you needed to point this out, folks.
