Can someone give me some info on how a Killflash compares to a sunshade for day shooting and how it does for night shooting (i.e. do you need to take it off at night)?
Thanks!
Thanks!

taliv June 27, 2012, 09:35 AM they don't really do the same thing. if you're trying to prevent people from seeing you, get the killflash/ARD. if you want to keep glare from the sun from obscuring your target, get the sunshade. I have ARDs on my USO and ACOG (because they came with it, not because I particularly need them). No problems at night with either. I generally prefer sunshades MtnCreek June 27, 2012, 09:51 AM 10-4. I was hoping the Killflash would help with sun glare and at the same time, not block light for night shooting. Now that I think about it, that doesn't even make sense.... Thanks! taliv June 27, 2012, 10:13 AM well, if the "killflash" is just a honeycomb in a sunshade then it will help, but it's the sunshade that's helping not the mesh
