Stag Handled Blackjack Knives

Here is my collection of sambar stag handled Blackjack knives. All knives feature convex ground A2 tool steel blades. These knives are made in Escanaba Michigan by Bark River Knife and Tool.

I'm not a fan of stag handles in general, but those are nice examples of the type. :)

I'm glad to see that Blueridge has kept the Blackjack line alive and that Bark River is manufacturing them.

Are they still convex ground and cryo'd?

Those are really nice!

They are still full convex grinds. I can't tell you if they are cyrogenically quenched or not.

Nice knives. I have two Bark River knives and would buy just about anything they make.

I like the model 14.

Blackjack A2 is Identical to Bark River A2; triple tempered and cryogenically treated.

Heck, I like them all especially the Model 125. Been looking at them on KnifeSupply.com. What is wrong with this picture? Good steel, solid construction, yet they are nowhere near overpriced. The Model 14 is American made......

Yeah, the model 125 is a gem. To me it would make a near perfect general use hunting knife. I've got one in black micarta. I would like get one in stacked leather as well.

The stacked leather is a beautiful knife. I have one knife with a stacked leather handle but haven't used it yet. How do they hold up?

Yeah I question the longevity of stacked leather handles as well.

Unlike JShirley I love stag pistol grips and knife handles, and those are three of the nicest knives I've seen in sometime,specially the "fighter" on the bottom.

Skinned and scrapped it with the same knife, the meat became stew :cool:
