I'm going to reload 200 of these guys but my manuals only quote 230g FMJ. However, are the Montana Gold 230g truly FULL metal jackets? I can see the jacket upon looking at the base. Do I load these the same as bullets where I cannot see the jacet as the base is enclosed in the jacket? My Speer manual states to start at 5.6g of HP-38, which is my go-to powder for .45ACP. I appreciate any info/clarification.

Yes, closed or open base makes no pressure differance.
