A couple of years back a US soldier refused to wear the beret and insignia of the UN. Whatever happened to him and his case? I believe his name was Eric Show.

Wasn't Eric Show a pitcher for the San Diego Padres among others ?

I remember hearing about a guy that refused to sew a UN patch on his uniform and I can probably think of his name eventually.
I think it was something like Michael New or something that sounds like that.
