Well I tried telling him that even the +P 38 Spc recoil might be a little sharper than he likes with the scandium frame, but you know dogs today. They know everything. Can't tell them anything. So now he has a flinch. Oh well at least he's good with a rifle. :D

The last couple are great, sniper style, too funny.

My dane had a blast chasing fireworks last night but I think he actually caught some sparks off a bottle rocket and settled down some. No way I could ever get him to lay still for anything though.

Anyone want to play tug of war with a soccer ball? He will also play with a tennis ball and a slightly deflated basketball. Of course any inflated ball we have will quickly become slightly deflated.

Jrd, would you say that when he has a basketball he is a...wait for it...point guard dog?

The best guard dog I had was a big Heiz 57 that showed up as a half dead puppy. When he got grown he was 140 pounds and white eyed anybody who showed up until we said they were OK.
