With the case feeder installed, how easy is it to bypass? There are a lot of things I do on my press that I probably would not bother with the case feeder and I'm just wonder how much it would get in the way.

Extremely easy. Take a wooden dowell cut it to fit inbetween the case feeder mounting bar and the case block and it holds it open. You can run the press and drop in one case at a time if you want.

Or simply dont turn it on or put anything in it. It is not in the way of operating the press or running single cases through.

Thank you. I'm starting to think about doing two reloading 'sessions' per year, reloading 2k-3k each of 45acp and 223 per session. I'm thinking the case feeder would speed that up quite a bit.

I'll still probably continue to decap and clean brass each time I come home from the range (100 rounds 223 and 100 rounds of 45) and for that I think the case feeder would be more trouble than it's worth.

I can't speak for doing my .223 progressively as I do all my rifle loading on a T-7 turrett. As for the 45 , the case feeder makes depriming/sizing and expanding as easy as the pull of the handle.With the case feeder you would be able to do the 100 45 cases one handed in under 3 minutes.

dbarnhart, see page 26 of the LNL-AP with case feeder manual under "Single Case Operation" i.e. unscrew and remove the push rod lower. I do this on a regular basis.

Even easier than cutting a dowel: drip a Bic pen or Sharpie marker down the drop hole in the shuttle. The stays locked open and will not dispense!
