Im trying these bullets out after hearing lots of good things. So far I've loaded a few with some left over H335 powder and produced groups around 1" and bigger at 100 yards from my stock Howa 1500 barrel. What are some different loads I should try amounts of powder or different powder, I havent found much information on these 167 scenar bullets and powder combos. I'm relatively new to reloading so any information is welcome.

I feel powder charge and seating depth can have more effect on accuracy then your powder choice.
H335 is good.
But maybe a stick type powder like IMR- 4895 or Varget might be better?

How do you figure your seating depth? I just put a bullet into the chamber and the set it back .05. And right now I'm experimenting with different charges do you have any suggestions about the ammount of powder? My gun has a 1 to 10 twist btw.

I can't help you much with seating depth.
Was I doing it, I would seat real long, and color the bullet with a magic marker.
Then keep seating deeper and coloring again until the bullet shows no signs of rifling in the marker rub-off.
Again, I have never bothered with much of that.
Factory Match and Varmint ammo shoots better then most factroy rifles can shoot it.
And it is loaded to a standard length that works in any rifle.
If you do everything else right, seating to the lands is no biggy, IMO>

I load .308 mostly with Varget. Reloder 15 is at least as good and maybe better.
Either is better than AA 2520 in two barrels of mine and one of a friend's.
Haven't tried H335 but lean towards extruded for target shooting.

I've gotten excellent accuracy using Reloader 15 or IMR 4895 under 168 gr Sierra HPBT match bullets. H335 not so much.

You ought to try Vihtavouri n140 or n150 as its what will be in factory Lapua ammo.
Google Lapua or Vihtavouri to find their website.
Their data is on the website.

I purchases and have shot some nice groups with the IMR 4895. In a 3 shot group all three fit nicely into a within a 1" square and two holes were touching the third almost touching. I wanted to use the Vihtavouri but would have to order it and it would cost me unless I ordered bulk (which I have no need for at the moment). But the shop I went to had some vv powder but it wasn't listed for my bullets one was 350 and I can't remember the other, he said he would cut me a deal on it but I didn't even know how much to start at so I stuck with the IMR and loaded it like a 168 grn. I also noticed that I get better accuracy on my lower velocities like 40 grn if powder vs 43 or 44 (with my factory barrel) thanks for the tips and if you have any others I'll sure look into them!
