Can someone point me to the specific IL law that deals with legality of carrying pepper sprays, specifically the Kimber Pepper Blaster II? I don't even know where to begin to look.

Until IL gets with the program and gets CCW I'm thinking this might be my best option.

Any insights into these would be much appreciated as well.

I wouldn't recommend using any kind of pepper spray. There was a criminal who was shot with pepper spray while attempting a rape, but he still somehow managed to run away. I guess you could call that guy a... (puts on sunglasses ) Seasoned Veteran. Sorry I couldn't help but you can't say that didn't give you a laugh or two :)

Just out of curiosity, is Tobasco sauce still legal in Illinois? It has the same exact ingrediant as pepper spray and can easily be put in a kids water gun or any pump sprayer.
