What ammo do you use in your LCP

Hi all,
I just picked up a ruger LCP this past weekend and I was hoping to get some insight on what other lcp owners are carrying in their guns & if it is feeding & functioning reliably for them. please do not get this confused with my other post asking about defensive ammo for the 380. Now that I have purchased a
lcp I want to know what runs good through these guns as far as a defensive round either hollow point or a hard cast bullet. That being said has anyone had a chance to shoot the buffalo bore standard pressure 100gr hard cast ammo at all? I'm just trying to eliminate some of the " not so good" ammo off of the list so I don't end up wasting a ton of money trying to find something that will work good in the lcp for defense ( you can't beat the size & weight of these things for a throw in your pocket and go gun).
Thank
J

My LCP has been totally reliable with all the FMJ range ammo that I've tried. Haven't tried WWB and won't. I'm satisfied with FMJ as my SD load for EDC. Good Luck! The LCPs are great guns.

I have tried any and all fmj ammo, from WWB to S&B, to old Russian steel cased stuff. I've even shot LRN reloads through it with no problem. I've never had a malf with mine.

Seriously, just find whatever is cheapest and whatever you feel like trying and go put rounds down range. You're not going to hurt the gun with range ammo so you might as well just try stuff. I've been elated at the results. For such a tiny gun, it sure isn't as picky as one would expect.

Agreed 100%

The Remington Gold Saber round is hotter and heavier than many similar choices.

Speer Gold Dots for SD. For practice it is a mix of S&B or WWB. Only ever had 2 jams, both with aluminum-cased blazer.

I carry 95 gr Winchester PDX1 in mine. I used to carry Winchester Silvertips because someone gave me a box for free. After using it for a coup de grace on a wounded deer, I decided to go with a bonded bullet. I've not found anything so far that mine won't cycle.

Hornady Critical Defense for carry. For the range I have yet to find anything my LCP won't shoot and feed properly. Not a single jam in about 500 rounds!!

I carry Corbon DPX in my 380's KelTec up . I shot the BB JHP It feels hotter than my Corbon . So I am looking at going to the BB DPX round as same Bullet as Corbon. Copper bullet is hard to beat in any caliber.

The first two rounds are critical defense followed by 5 rounds of 95 gr fmj
