That's the "Plainsman", 8.5 inch or so. Wicked sharp.

Forgive my asking, but is that from Bagwell himself or is that one of the Ontario copies?
If it's from Bagwell, how long did you have to wait?

Very cool knife...I believe that is from Ontario, Bagwell is about two years out on orders.

I just spoke to Bill Bagwell in Texas yesterday.
My damascus Belle is being shipped to me next week, we were finalizing the handle material he would use on this one. This one has will be an 11 inch bladed speed demon.
If you were to order one today, you would be at 7/05 delivery date or thereabouts.
Congrats on you purchase.

Sweeeeet.
I'm not too big on "traditional" types of knives, but that is one BIG exception.

Well I wanted a knife specificly for pig sticking that had a fancy western look to it.
I looked at "the fotress" blade, but that thing was just too long to be practical. I wanted something tanto-tough (ala my Cold Steel first edition) but with a pointy sharp end.
That's one well made, if mass-produced knife.

Very nice looking blade.
Let us know how you like it as you use it some.
