I just for the hell of it tried to pull my own license up last night. They have changed the laws like 6 years ago, "that's how long I haven't looked other than just to renew". You cannot pull up any info about a person who has a ccw in FL. I know you used to be able to years ago. But no more, which is a good thing I guess. This way no one can forge a license. Or violate your privacy, Is this in all states know?

That is the way in Texas, have to be in specific LE agency. Assures some privacy.

I am sad to say that here in AR it is still public info as far as I know. A few years some radical leftist "newspaper" (propaganda sheet) published the names and addresses of all permit holders in the state. Despite howls from all quarters, the editor piously insisted people had a right to know who was "toting guns" (and that's another catch phrase to ID anti-gunners, BTW).

Well, some folks decided that he had committed invasion of privacy bordering on domestic terrorism and figured what's good for the goose is good for the gander and the editor's name, phone number, and address were made public.

We have not heard any more about the public having a right to personal info from the useful idiot in charge of the commie rag.

The worst part of this debacle was our esteemed state legislature REFUSING to amend the law to protect the privacy of individuals. Oh, did I mention that the state legislature WAS 89 Democrats and 11 Republicans at that time? After the last election it is now 55/45 favoring the jackasses and after November they will no longer be the majority party. If they wonder why, I can tell them.

Well, SaxonPig, I have some good news, and I have some bad news. Names and addresses of license holders are not public record. Names and zip codes are, though. See Ark. Code Ann. § 25-19-105 (West)
