I know that we all discuss possible scenarios and plan and practice for something that we hope never happens. But, have any of you ever had to draw/fire your gun in self-defense?

Twice - once against a dog, and once against a bad guy... neither time did I have to fire a shot but I certainly am glad I had the choice there at hand... with the BG there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that if I had not cleared leather with him, he'd have hurt me badly... he saw Victim when he was coming after me and he seemed perfectly willing to take full advantage of what he thought he saw....

I was happy to have changed his mind....
