If you receive the TSRA Sportsman, you already know this - if you don't and you live in Texas - you should. Not because TSRA Sportsman is a great magazine; but because TSRA is a great organization that really knows how to work the legislature and doesn't bury you in donation begging (they have asked about twice all of last year)

Sadly, Texans for Gun Safety (formerly known as Texans For Gun Control) had to lay off all of their full-time paid staff (funded by a generous $60,000/year grant from Americans For Gun Safety/Andrew McKelvey) and return to a volunteer basis.

Just curious if any other local chapters of AGS were "returning to their grassroots fundamentals" due to lack of funding.
