Home defense, self defense, range use... 6" for hunting (not around here, but why not somewhere else). I shot my buddy's the other day. Great gun.

With the rite clothes I carry a 4" with compact grips with a hi cant scabbord .

Back up side arm (the 4")when hunting with the rifle & in the rite stand 6" is primary weapon.

Both pull range duty!

Yes GP is "General Purpose"

I have a 6" that i hunt small game with, target shoot, home defence, and in the winter i carry it in a shoulder holster from time to time. Us ccw holders love big fluffy winter coats!:D

I have a 4" GP100 I open carry it sometimes in a Galco Fletch. I mainly use this gun for papper punching but it also spends quite a bit of time in the night stand and it comes with me on every camping trip.

I use mine for Steel shooting matches.

I'll take it with my for deer hunting this year.

My G26 will be what I use for all SD and camping unless I see the possibility of large predators.

My 6" full lug is my go-to gun. If it needs doing, the GP will do it.

My 4" GP100 is my 'if you could only have one handgun' handgun.

Yesterday I shot my best ever double action group at 25 yards. That made me very happy. Very impressed with my new 'Geep'.
I just wish the original style rubber with wood panel grips fit me better, they look good. Fortunately the new style Hogue rubber finger groove grips fit like a glove, probably why my DA shooting is so good with this gun. That and the smooth trigger.

I carry it OWB, guayabera style when hiking, loaded with heavy 180 - 200 grain hardcast .357. At times I've carried it in urban areas with 125 grain gold dots. It would also be appropriate in that configuration for home defense. I have about 2500 downrange with it. The 4" is the ultimate general purpose GP!

I carry one when I'm in the woods.
