I tried to get on the forums over there and saw this message:

it's because xmb is the worst possible forum ever please choose another forum"

So the anti-gunners want to play hardball eh?

It might just be restricted to the server they use for the forums, rather than the site itself.

Yeah I can still access the site but not the forums. We had a few important threads that I needed to keep track of over there. I've been watching cspan for the past couple of days and was giving updates and stuff so this is really BS timing for a l337 anti-gun haxx0r to mess with the site.

From the message, it sounds like someone was targeting a particular forum software, not the forum based on content. Some script kiddie got a hold of an exploit and went to town on any vulnerable board he could find, I'd guess.
