I ordered one for my Sig 229. It is ported with 2 forward angle ports in the barrel which extends beyond the slide about maybe less than an inch. The barrel is stainless and easily dropped into my .40 cal. 229....now it can be a 15 rounder 9mm. I cycled 147 gr. hollow points through it by hand. Not a hitch. I will provide a range report real soon. This weekend maybe. As for how it looks...in a word...."tactical". It looks very aggressive. Kinda like all those "combat" handguns you see in police weapon magazines you can't afford. Looks like the Custom 229 sport and the total cost? 149 bucks and that includes shipping.

Lifetime warranty. Now I will see if this thing lives up to my expectations. Will put about 300 rounds through this weekend. If all goes well, I'll get one for my 2340.
