I got the chance to shoot both last week when a friend who owns them let me squeeze few rounds. I was able to hit metal plates easily at 12 yds in both guns. All ammo used with FMJs. The Sig is too small , perfect for that jogging run as its easily concealable.
Of the two the Beretta Cheetah is really nice Small, compact and much much better feel than the cheaper CZ 82 (i have one ). Looking at the new Beretta Cheetah, they sure are priced way up there. The Cheetah is just a better quality gun for a .380. Oh well i need to order trigger springs from CZ USA so i can fix my broken CZ 82.

Are you looking at the Beretta 84 or 85? I have an older 84, and it's really nice. Plus you've got to love the 13 round magazines. The 85 is a bit thinner though. By the way, how was the reliability on that SIG? A guy had one at the range a few months ago and it was jamming quite a bit.

I let a friend shoot my PPK and my 84 a couple weeks ago. He hated shooting the PPK but he really liked the Beretta 84.

I have the Beretta 84 and the CZ 83. The Beretta is possibly the best made gun I have ever owned. However I would not call the CZ 83 cheap by any standards.

I consider the CZ 83 a very good gun
I consider the Beretta 84 a great gun

The Sig 238 was okey, didnt jam at all. But i really like the Beretta Cheetah. i wish i got one in the late 1990s. i did ge t a Sig 230 in 1996 . I sold it in two years to my brother. Again looking back i should have kept it.
The Cheetah is just finely made, kind of a miniaturized M 9 pistol.
