Guys,
I haven't got the link, but it can be found in the general discussion forums at AK-47.net
There is a bill being introduced in MO...That would declare hundreds of firearms "assault weapons". There is NO GRANDFATHERED STATUS!!! Any firearm that is declared to be an assault weapon....would become illegal contraband....Regardless of whether it was legally purchased prior to the ban becoming law!
Also, it would require "ballistic fingerprinting for all new firearms". And make private party transactions illegal! All sales would have to go through an FFL!
Go check out the bill for yourselves, and then hop on the horn to your representatives.
LET THEM KNOW THAT WE WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS GARBAGE!!!!!:cuss: :fire:

If this is allowed to pass....I would be guilty of Class A Misdeameanor crimes for not turning over my legally owned Romanian SAR rifles. All AR, FAL, Cetme, etc. owners would be to!

Unlike California (Commiefornia?), MO still seems like it would be winable.

Is it time to start the rebellion yet? :(

I promised myself that as soon as I became a criminal by the stroke of a pen, I'd draw the line. How far does the government have to go before we all start feeding the hogs?

This is SB890, sponsored by Mary Bland. She is a real piece of work. I don't think she stands a snowball's chance of even geting this thing out of committee, so let's not worry too much just yet. FYI, there IS a provision in the bill that would allow those "assault" style weapons possessed prior to the effective date to be immune from the new law, although the bill text was a bit hard to follow. At least that's what I got from it.
