I guess Pachmayr is no longer making the black rubber Bill Jordan grips?

Did they ever make a set for a round-butt N-frame? I have been watching eBay, but only see the occassional square-but model.

Anybody want to sell a pair?

They were hard plastic and not rubber. They are also HUGE, unless you have very large hands they are miserable.

Not sure if they ever made them for the N round, but I doubt they did. I had a pair for a K-square and had them on the gun all of 15 seconds.

www.eaglegrips.com Check out their Heritage line. I haven't seen any Pachmayr Jordan grips in years.

I had a pair of the Pachmayr Jordan grips for my K-frame Model 64. They were great in my hand, but they fit the revolver very loosely. The gun rattled and shifted side to side within the grips, and the hollow, hard plastic shell felt cheap. I wish they could have done a better job with them. The only way to get a good set of Jordan's is still Herrett's Stocks.

I have Pachmayr Jordan grips in both K and N-frame sizes, and can use them in spite of having small hands. Anyway because of the way they wrap around the frame you can use the square-butt models on round butt guns. If you find them too loose use a little glass bedding compound to cure the problem.

The ideal solution though is to go to Herrett's Stocks and get the "real thing." They were one of the few that were authorized to make the grips by Bill himself.

Also, if you can find one, buy a copy of his book, "No Second Place Winner," that explains in detail why his stocks were designed the way they were.
