I have a long stick handgun caliber magazine, like a 50 round Uzi magazine.

But instead of exactly rectangle, it is more wedgelike, wider in the back.

What does it go to?

Pics may help.

Could be pretty much anything inspired by the Swedish K / Carl Gustav M/45 magazine. You'll have to try harder.

Could be a Tec-9 also.

From the fact that its wider in the back, it sounds like it may have been designed for a rimmed cartridge, though that would seem unlikely. Pics would be needed to really get a better idea.

Mac 10/11 or KelTec.

Need a pic if at all possible.

The other names above are all possible too.

Sounds for sure like a pistol caliber.

Can you post a picture of where the magazine release engages?

On second thought I think my original post about being a Tec 9 magazine was correct. Check out this link: http://www.gunauction.com/search/displayitem.cfm?itemnum=8790722

Turns out it's not a Tec 9 magazine.

Back in the hunt to figure this out.

Appears to be a USA brand(now defunct) Tec-9 mag.

It does not appear to be a tec 9. The slots are not in the right place.

It's double stack. Must be for a carbine.

The only release lever notch is in the back, so I'm thinking it must go to something with a rear release similar to an AK47.

This is very puzzling!

Here is a link to a really big picture. Hold your magazine up to it and see if the release lever notch lines up. I think your magazine was made by an aftermarket company and that is why it doesn't look exactly the same.

Looks like the mag for an MPA/Mac 10/11 clone.

I've compared it with the Mac 10/11 and Tec 9. It doesn't match up.

Someone must know!

Didn't a company buyout Mac and change the Mac10-Mac11 into that sub gun with the fold down extendable stock and the built in fore grip sub gun that looks an awful lot like the Mac version it might be for one of those

After four months of bumps and disagreeing with every suggestion without even so much as a "thank you for trying", I think we can lay this one to rest.
