Wonder how long it will take before any victims start suing the gun manufacturer on this one.

This looks like it will end badly. I am more concerned with the hostage than a law suit.

What was the line about stolen mail? "I'd better find an empty rifle and a dead Marine," or something to that effect. Wouldn't it have been nice if she could've popped this idiot the minute this whole thing started...

He says carriers receive training on how to deal with hostage situations
Of course, none of that "training" deals with carrying a weapon to be able to keep yourself from being a hostage in the first place.
"Training" to be a victim ....?
Wonder if they also train the women how to undress quickly for a rapist?
Hope they nail this guy dead and save the lady.

It's a good day to be a bad guy in any other portion of Miami. Did anyone else notice all the police cars that were there when they showed an overhead shot? There were probably close to 100 cluttering up those 4 streets. Now I agree that you need to close the intersection but that probably could have been done with the first 10 cars or so (especially seeing has how this is a postal van with no tires left), throw in the big SWAT truck and 15-20 SWAT guys and you have the situation well in control.
You would think that somebody higher up (who wasn't getting their hair done to look pretty for the cameras) would start to clear out the hangers on to get back to their regular patrols.
