I was perusing the new arrivals at the LGS today and saw some new AR platform pistol caliber carbines. These one accepted glock mags for their respective caliber. Then I saw some 30r 45acp glock mags. This got me thinking. Perhaps the best HD,CQC, entry team weapon:
Pistol caliber carbine, on an AR plarform, 7.5"bbl, threaded with AAC suppressor, accepting 30rd 45acp Glock mags, collapsible butstock, EOTec 552 HWS, push button activated weapons light on quadrail, shooting 230gr+p.
It gives you enough power to take down anything but fully armored targets, fast, nimble, won't make you deaf and won't make you blind if you need to use it at night...I think it might be just about perfect. I know I would have loved to have something like it when I was taking care of pirates a few years ago. It sure beats the M9/M4-shotgun combo I had. Now, who makes one...???
