He stated that the AW Ban is still up in the air and his office is looking to hear from constituents. It will be a very close vote! From what I gathered there seems to be a willingness to trade the DC gun ban for the AW Ban. Actually it was described not so much as a trade but a "if you raise the AWB then I'll give DC gun rights." Its a tit for tat but we suffer a net loss.
That being said if both amendments are offered only the DC amendment may be the only one left after the House gets its hands on it. SO DON'T START BAD MOUTHING THE NRA! THIS COULD BE PART OF THE STRATEGY! Or we could get screwed.
Get everyone you know to call your senators and send e-mails EVERY SINGLE DAY! Also call the NRA and voice your supportfor the no compromise approach for the AW BAn This is the moment we have all been waiting for. This is the fight!
