1953 S&W K-22 Masterpiece
Well, apart from the Nox-Rust paper, and with a lot of help and advice from the S&W Forum members, I completed the set today!
Pistol, box, Helpful Hints brochure, sight adjustment tool, and cleaning tools.
It's a shooter and not a museum piece, but it's all there finally.
What a great hobby!

She is a beauty - looks as new! She'll be a head turner on the range.
I have a Mod 17 ('71) and a Mod 48 ('74) that are two of my favorite range guns. I'm looking for a model 18 in similar exc condition.
Hope you enjoy your new shooter!

Pristine and in its original box. I hope you get or make a cedar wood box to store it in.

Thanks, Gary, but it's been shot and shows a little wear on the bluing.
Therefore, I'm gonna keep shooting it!

Protect box though. Don't let it get crushed. I wouldn't even store the gun in the original box. Future generations of Americans will thank you for it.

Very nice!
I still have the box and all the goodies that came with my Model 17 when I bought it brand, spanky new in 1975.

there are tons out there.
And if you are not a stickler for perfect blue, they are not even that expensive.

Then you probably don't want to know that I paid $125 for mine in 1975. Of course, $125 was a fair amount of money back then.

Without the Nox-Rust paper, I think this is about as close as I can get to replicating everything that came with a 1953 K-22 Masterpiece.
