Fobus Holster

I just purchased a rail light w/laser for my Golck 22, which makes my other ccw holsters obsolete. The only holster I see that will work is a Fobus paddle with a cutout for the light system. Anyone using this that can give me a real world report?
Thanks

I gotta be honest I was using one when I first got my glock 19 and I didn't care for the retention system, with the "snap" wrist action to make the holster release. The blackhawk cqc system is what I use now with the index finger release.

IMO:
The Fobus "snap wrest" release is safer & faster once you learn to use it.
At least your trigger finger isn't pushing hard in the same place your trigger is going to be when the gun comes out of the holster an inch and a half!!
See this about that!

Check out Raven Concealment, Bladetech or Garrett Industries for Kydex. I'm pretty sure they all make holsters for use with a weapon light.

Wow RCMODEL, I looked at that video...I think I'd call 911 before my parents. There are some major veins and arteries in the thigh. I had been using the blackhawk with the finger release. I see what you mean.

Check out crown holsters. Same type as Raven little less cost and little quicker delivery times. Quality is about the same as far as I can tell

a guy just shot himself in the leg with a blackhawk holster a few months ago near where I live. I 2nd what RC said.
I use the Fobus holsters and mag pouches for competitions. They work really well. The retention is adjustable and its not hard to overcome.

I loved the Fobus I got for my S&W 40 cal.

Fobus paddle, left side. Made for SIG, but works with S&W 3913. Mine doesn't have the adjustable retention, but I have never had the slightest issue with it despite it's "hold" being a little light. I wouldn't recommend doing cartwheels, though. The adjustable retention is much nicer.

Armordillo concealment is another company I would suggest. Good pricing and good CS. I have one for my M&P compact with a tlr-3
