TURNS WIDOWS INTO FELONS !

"Upon the death of an owner of a firearm, the administrator or executor of the estate shall turn over custody of the firearm to the chief law enforcement officer of the municipality in which the decedent resided"

In other words, while the widow is grieving, she will have to
GO TO THE POLICE STATION TO DROP OFF HER DECEASED HUSBANDS GUN COLLECTION OR ELSE BECOME A FELON!

How nice of Assemblywomen Weinberg being so thoughtful at the widow's time of need!

How many widows are even going to know this?

Also note: (1) the bill conflicts with federal law by interfering with interstate transfer via inheritance and (2) it turns police stations into gun storage facilities so now the police can spend even less time fighting crime and more time doing paperwork and acting as temporary gun shops!

Oh my God. I've seen her in action over medical malpractice reform among other issues and she's the single worst legislator in the nation. I'll post a link to her site in a few minutes. She sucks, man. I kid you not. Holy you know what. Whoa! Sweet Mother of God. I'm absolutely speechless.

I don't know if it is still a popular "cottage industry" or not, but there was a time when the "Bad Guys" would keep watch on the death notice/obit columns, and go ransack people's homes during calling hours/funeral times.

And then would go back and hit same address about 5-6 weeks later, after insurance settlements/replacement items.

So if this bit of nonsense passes, I can see NJ home invasions going up rapidly...They know the widows will be unarmed.

Sheeeeeeshhhh What universe do some of these legis-sneakers come from? ? ? ? It sure isn't THIS universe.
