Hickock.45 is well known as one of the best gun reviewers on You-Tube, and he's usually seen with this particular hearing protection system that I can't seem to find anywhere. They're kinda like two ear plugs that are connected by a curved, semi-rigid piece, like a very small set of headphones.
Anyone have a line on these things ? Thanks......

Do a internet search for "banded hearing protection". You may find another online retailer you like.

Those are a very poor choice for shooting since they have a relatively low noise reduction rating (25) when compared to cheap foam plugs (33). The other thing that makes them an awful choice for shooting is that they can't be used with muffs and anyone that shoots should be wearing muffs over plugs.

He might be entertaining and know a lot about guns, but his choice of hearing protection shows he doesn't know much about protecting his hearing.

Stick with properly inserted plugs with muffs over them and you'll be much better off.

They're lousy for anything high noise, they're lousy if you have to move around, they're incompatible with muffs, and they're too big to store easily

Get an assortment of plugs and/or muffs, find what you like and what you find effective, and stock up on them.

They are ok if you just want to take the edge of the wife's "yap yap yap" ;) but terrible at noise reduction and comfort while shooting.
