Hi everyone! I am excited to break the news (that has been out elsewhere for a few months), that my school has recently began a 3-gun team. The Aggie 3-Gunners are the first (and only) collegiate 3-gun team to be officially recognized in the country. It is a big step for a college to recognize such an organization, and I am excited to see where it goes from here.

The main problem that has been overcome was raising enough money to cover insurance costs, which was taken care of by some great sponsors. We are currently talking with a local range to allow us two days a month to set up 3-gun stages for practice and as a team we intend to attend 1-2 matches each month.

For those that are more experienced in 3-gun competition, any recommendations of any kind? Advice on individual and/or team work is greatly appreciated!

Outstanding!

I hope this is the beginning of a national trend...

I shot in collegiate clays championships in college with some aggies. Great guys and it will never happen at my alma matre either. (university of Illinois)
