This is just a general thank you to the High Road moderators for keeping the politics out of THR.org, especially this year. I resigned from a firearms related organization in my state today because of the political tinge to the monthly newsletters.

I appreciate it that THR mods have made a civil forum for folks that might not all vote the same.

As usual, I expect I have probably picked the wrong forum for this post. I expect someone will move this as needed;)

Thanks. We do try, but the silly season is upon us so we will be busy the next few months. :)

Yes, I agree wholeheartedly . Overall, this place is a well oiled machine :) .
Compared to many other forums ( and I belong to a few ;) ), when trouble does jump off, it's not for long until it's quelled.

Thanks to Admin and Mods for a great forum :D.

Not only this, but a lot of the "zombie, end of days, ect.." stuff you see everywere. It gets nipped in the bud.

I also think the amount of knowledge on this forum is about the best on any forum i've seen. I know i've learned a lot.

Agreed. While I have some pretty strong feelings politically myself, it's really refreshing to come here and not have to worry about getting fired up. This is by FAR the most "mature" group that I've been involved with. Outside of that, the most KNOWLEDGEABLE people are here, as well. This is the best source of information for us "gun people". I have gotten much valuable and accurate information and advice here. Thanks to the moderators AND the other members here!

Pretty much.

I've even been having to nix political talk at work these days. It's nice to log on and not be swamped with that stuff.

I agree wholeheartedly, but shouldn't this thread be closed?????? What exactly does it have to do with firearms? (grinning as I type this)

I appreciate the forum and they way it's handled too. I've had a few run-ins with "the man" here a few times and every time it was deserved/I did something pretty silly.
I'm learning though and am thankful for a couple or so second chances.

Most of how well THR operates is thanks to the Members as well as Moderators.

WE can't keep the forum running this way without your active participation in keeping it on track. YOU keep the culture here alive and working.

So, right back atcha!:D

Best firearms forum on the internet, so thank you in kind for doing what you do.

Members are what makes this forum my Internet home. The vast majority of our great members do nothing but post civil contributions free of political wailing, cursing and trolling. This makes us, in my unbiased opinion, the best gun forum on the web.

Thank you!
