S/A Ultra Compact 9mm??????

Anybody have one or knows someone who does? I might have a deal pending, but I've never shot one. Are they reliable? How's the recoil etc.?

You want to run a search in the SA forum at 1911forum.com. I had a .45 micro-compact (a bit smaller) that worked great, but I recall some caveats over there about other models . . . there'll be lots of info there.

Good luck. The 9mm Ultra models always seemed really neat to me.

My UC 9mm took a little work, they get so carried away on the case head support of an integral ramp barrel that they don't always make it a FEED ramp. Now it works fine. Most are ok, if not SA fixes them. Recoil is very mild.
