The only thing Colt on that gun are the grips.
The frame has everything wrong for that, particularly no "Colt's Pt. Mfg. Hartford, CT" markings.

Well, now that we have slide serrations on the back to sling shot the slide, and slide serrations on the front so people can put their hands very near the muzzle of a loaded weapon:rolleyes: ,
I figure somebody is going to introduce a pistol with slide serrations the full length of the slide.
I guess it might be handy for making wood shavings to start a fire with, but yer holster is gonna be really mad at you.

George,
Oh. My. Gawd.
Yes, I think you've identified the market for this pistol. Who cares how (or even if) it shoots; it looks way rad and fresh (wait; what are "all the kids" saying now for "way rad and fresh?")

if it wasn't for the serrations, and the partially polished finish, and the cutouts of the slide, and the extended barrel, and the adornments on the slide, and the wrap around grips, and the guide rod that sticks out, and the rear sight, i would like it.

All I can seem to think of is "What's it chambered for that made that seem like an improvment?"
What round are they trowing down range to make the flash supressor a "boon" and all that extra slide weight? .45 Super necked down to 7.62?
The slide serrations are as ugly as they are pointless and the barrel just makes me ask "Why?" (see above diatribe).

Looks like an AMT Hardballer Longslide to me. Look at the sights, trigger, slide, and slide serrations.
I believe the modern term is "tight" or "pimp".

The most amazing thing is the person who butchered that gun appears to have done a halfway decent job - half way, mind you. Even someone half competent should have
A) known better and
B) not done that.

Lots of .38 Supers were nickle plated with ivory grips. Popular in latin america.
