Harv,
That's right purty with the liners and fill on the mosaic pins matching.

Harv,
Your work is a pleasure to see. Carried the Small Game Hunter fishing today.
You sure make hard on a guy with those pictures:D

Looks great!
I like the clean execution of your knives. I wish I could get my plunge lines to look half as good as yours :o. You did a good job on that mosaic pin stock, too. If you don't mind answering this, I'd love to know what you're using for fill.
Very clean work

Very nice! A pleasure to see as opposed to the cleavers folk seem to like making these days.
And, with a sheath that took more than 20 minutes to finish to boot!
I wonder if you maybe shouldn't experiment with your logo being longitudinal to the blase though?

Another dang nice knife Harv. Your photo's are getting better as well.
I will try and take some pictures of my new toy and my wifes new knife and get them posted. Thank you again

Jason,
I use Devcon 2 ton epoxy with a squirt of paint tint from the paint store or lumber yard. Most will give you a small bottle for nothing. You don't need much, the more tint you put in the longer it takes the epoxy to cure.

That is one beautiful knife. Out of curiosity what does something like that run for?

Shawn,
Thanks for the interest in my knife!
That knife and sheath run $300.00.

I would have never thought to put that combo together for the handle, but it looks amazing, very pretty knife

Thanks Harv. I use Devcon 2 Ton as well, but my only experience with trying to tint it (I used oil paint) didn't turn out so well. I figured maybe oil based paint was the problem, but for whatever reason, the epoxy never cured. I think after reading your post I probably used too much paint, as well.
Thanks for the pointer, I appreciate it.

Thanks for the comments. I used to put my logo on that way.

Jason,
I have also used powdered tempra paint to color epoxy. It works well for everything except the smaller pins. I thickens up pretty fast.

Thanks Harv. The tempera sounds like a good idea.
