Are T/C Hawkens, stone sparked .45 gittin rare ?

I located one today that is in better than decent shape.
( nothing i can't turn into great shape)
For what i'm 'spectin is a good price.
Are these rifles, in this configuration, becomin the rare birds that i'm readin they are ?

I haven't seen one in 10 years or more, since I bought my .50 cal. I did see another 50 on the rack at a LGS a few days ago. IIRC, $299.

I understand you believe it's in good shape, and if you're right, yes, that would be a steal. As for fixing up a poor one, well, only you know what your time is worth.

Jim, we had one at the Gun Shop I work at ocassionally, that went for $200.00 it was really clean, that was after I finished building my .50 flinter. It sure didn't last long.:uhoh:
