What do we do if Obama wins?

I have been watching the polls very closely. Up to this point it has mainly been a head to head race. But, if Obama is able to come out ahead and get reelected. God knows he will be going after our first and second amendment right. When he does this, what can we the people do?

Start buying all of the ammo and evil rifles you can afford. Hord it all up and never sell it or shoot it.
No, but really all you can do is vote, write your state reps and support pro 2A groups like NRA. Happy shooting

Lol really?
...."I'm willing to bet that responsible, law-abiding gun owners agree," Obama wrote, "that we should check someone's criminal record before he can check out at a gun seller; that an unbalanced man shouldn't be able to buy a gun so easily; that there's room for us to have reasonable laws that uphold liberty, ensure citizen safety and are fully compatible with a robust Second Amendment.
"That's why our focus right now should be on sound and effective steps that will actually keep those irresponsible, law-breaking few from getting their hands on a gun in the first place," he said.
On the campaign trail in 2008 at a stop in Pennsylvania, Obama assured gun owners, "I'm not going to take away your guns."
"The 2 nd Amendment is an individual right and it means something," he said at the time. "What I also believe is there's nothing wrong with some common sense, gun safety measures. For example, that we should have strong background checks to keep guns out of the hands of criminals, to keep them out of the hands of mentally disabled.
"The bottom line is this, If you've got a rifle, if you've got a shotgun, if you've got a gun in your house, I'm not taking it away," he said.......
People can and will believe whatever they want but I cant remember a single election where people didnt freak out and say "hes going to take our guns". If it happens, im sure we will all protest and do what we can to reverse the new laws. Personally I doubt that anything is going to happen. The brady campaign hates him so thats probably a good sign for us if he does get elected.

If Obama wins I don't think things will change much. Most Democrats in congress know that if they push gun control they will get their butts handed to them. The only thing I'm concerned about is the Supreme Court.

Wow. An overtly political post and you claim to know what your God knows all in one. If Obama wins or not, find an appropriate place to discuss politics.

What's he going to do in the next 4 years that he didn't do in the last 4 years?
Gun control is pretty much the bottom of the bill right now. the Economy is issue #1-5 then gay marriage, then gun control is this thing that's just sort of in the back of a handful of people's minds. Hell, most people have already forgotten about the recent mass shootings because they don't really care.
In short: I'm not worried.

Move to Switzerland and get free Sig's!
Can we expect a panic if he gets reelected? If he was planning on screwing the 2A, he definitely wouldn't have done it in his first term.

I'm pretty sure "God knows" is an expression. Don't forget that you're breaking the rules by bringing up religion.

Pray. And hope that Americans will realize before it is too late what he is up to.
He will chip away in indirect ways as he and other presidents have. Power begets
More power. Power has shifted from the voters to the courts and administration.
He has assumed illegal power several times in the laws he chooses to enforce.
The first amendment has been greatly weakened by Obamadoesntcare. The end run on the second Amendment is the treaty he is trying to get signed that gives away our sovereignty. Most Americans do not know or care about our history and freedoms and that we the people means each of us, not some other class or group of people.

Some of you out there may not like my concerns and feel I'm over reacting. I'm a young man who has never had a liberal tyrant in the White House. Basically I'm asking this to see what we could do if he does try to take away our rights.

The only real danger he poses to gun rights is the appointment of Supreme Court justices. Congress is not going to act on gun control.

Nothing much will happen at all. And Mitt is no friend of 2A supporters, regardless of what he says now you need to judge people by what they have actually done.

What we should do, in my view, is get more people involved in guns and shooting. Much of the volume of guns sold over the past four years has been to guys (and some gals) like us. You had five guns in 2008, then you bought three more in the past four years (black rifles, hi-cap pistols, etc.). If we could get our attitudes/hobbies/sports to become much more popular, more people would be vested in this issue personally and it would be tougher to strip us of these rights. I try to share my ideas, my hobbies, and the fact that I'm not a "gun nut" with as many "atypical" gun-owner types as possible. One at a time, we can get there.

Wrong. DEAD wrong.
The president can to a LOT of damage just by re-writing BATFE rules. And it's not just Supreme Court judges you have to worry about. The president nominates ALL federal judges, including those in the courts of appeals. THESE judges are the one who decide which cases MAKE it to the Supreme Court. This president is the most anti-gun president we have ever had. Do not confuse his not being ABLE to pass new gun laws with a lack of DESIRE to pass new gun laws.
Obama’s Record
"As a general principle, I believe that the Constitution confers an individual right to bear arms. But just because you have an individual right does not mean that the state or local government can't constrain the exercise of that right."
Barack Obama - April 16, 2008, Democratic Primary Debate, National Constitution Center in Philadelphia
Facts – Obama on Gun Control
·
-Opposes four of the five Supreme Court justices who affirmed an individual right to keep and bear arms. He voted against the confirmation of Alito and Roberts and he has stated he would not have appointed Thomas or Scalia.
-Voted for an Illinois State Senate bill to ban and confiscate “assault weapons,” but the bill was so poorly crafted, it would have also banned most semi-auto and single and double barrel shotguns commonly used by sportsmen.
-Voted to allow reckless lawsuits designed to bankrupt the firearms industry
-Has endorsed a 500% increase in the federal excise tax on firearms and ammunition.
-Has endorsed a complete ban on handgun ownership
-Supports local gun bans in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and other cities.
-Voted to uphold local gun bans and the criminal prosecution of people who use firearms in self-defense
-Was a member of the Board of Directors of the Joyce Foundation, the leading source of funds for anti-gun organizations and “research.”
-Supported a proposal to ban gun stores within 5 miles of a school or park, which would eliminate almost every gun store in America.
-Supports a ban on inexpensive handguns
-Supports a ban on the resale of police issued firearms, even if the money is going to police departments for replacement equipment.
