Where does one find a stock for an M1917 rifle these days? Last time I looked a few years back, there were plenty around. Now I'm needing one and I can't find one anywhere.

SARCO lists them, but I don't know if they are in stock or not.

Judging by the recent sales on eBay, a good 1917 stock is worth way north of what a whole rifle used to sell for not too long ago.

Boyd's hasn't figured out what they need to do to make a good stock for a military rifle, even after 20 years of trying. There's gotta be a better alternative.
