Hey guys, awesome forum! I've been a lurker for awhile and I figured might as well join. Anyway I just bought some new Nosler 30cal custom comp 168gr bullets. These are not pulled or blem bullets but they have some marking on them. Anyone else experienced this from nosler or other manufacture?

Kind of common, it is from swaging the jackets down. Excess metal has to go someplace.

It makes them more aerodynamic by disrupting the laminar air flow and preventing tip stall, like the humongous rivets on the wings of the MIG-29.
Ohhhh!
Never mind, I was joking!

Thanks guys. Its weird that I didn't notice these same marks on other bullets if this is common.

Lol @ rivets on mig 29 !
The thicker the jacket, the more you will notice these "swage tunnels"

I've got some .223 bullets that you'd swear were scored for expansion joints
RC, thanks for the giggle..
