For budget red dots, I think this Bushnell TRS-25 is hard to beat.

Anyone have any ideas as to what the best riser would be for this red dot? I'm looking to 1/3 co-witness.

Utg, 1" section, if 1/3 cowitness, get the 1.14" high model.

I assume you mean on a flat top AR-15?

The UTG 1" riser gives you a 1/3 co-witness. The 0.83" gives you an absolute. I have the 0.83" on mine and it works great with a flip up rear sight. If you have a fixed rear the lower 1/3 generally works better though.

Their scopes suck, but they seem to be able to make a chunk of aluminum OK. ;)

Pits a great product. Crappy optics, good mount. Go figure.

It actually looks pretty good on there too. I don't know if they specifically made this mount for the TRS-25, but I suspect they did judging by how it is the perfect height for absolute co-witness, and it is just the right length.

Yeah it's hard to beat the $8.38 UTG RS10S3. I have two TRS-25s and use this high profile riser. It does give a bottom 1/3 cowitness and holds the RDS solid.

Their medium height would give absolute cowitness.
