lobo9er October 7, 2012, 12:36 AM i had to take it to a gunsmith, I hammered away with no luck. I think they used a press, it was a bunch of years ago. I always try 1st on every thing just about and that little pin got the best of me. At the time I didn't have a proper work bench or vice, but either way I couldn't get it. why do you have to remove it? I bought a tapco stock that I soon got rid of so it was a big waste of time and energy for me. Jackal October 7, 2012, 12:59 AM I have had to grind the ends off, drill them out and one I had just fell out. There is nothing that cannot be accomplished using the proper amount of lube, hammering and grinding. briansmithwins October 7, 2012, 03:01 AM Try drilling the head out then using a punch. BSW Dean1818 October 7, 2012, 08:07 AM 2nd on drilling the top off of one side Its Very easy, and a much better approach (IMHO) Than banging on it Its too easy to bend the piece. Use a bit the same width of the peened head, drill a tiny bit off, until the head Of the pin is off Tap out with a punch I will say again...... VERY EASY mf-dif October 7, 2012, 08:10 AM Drill out the larger side of the pin and tap it out from there?
