My new TALO Colt CCO

Went to a small local gunshow yesterday hoping I might find myself a Colt Commander, and I thought I had been succesful when I picked up a blued Colt on one of the tables, but something felt off about it... It took me a minute to realize it had an Officers sized frame and I had stumbled across a CCO. So of course I had to snatch it up, even if it was a little over budget and I still want a regular Commander.

Turns out I picked one of a limited run of TALO Colt CCOs. I might want to switch out the sights for Novak style ones, and I'm considering new thin grips... But other than that I'm pretty happy with it (haven't been to the range yet).

Sorry for my horrible picture quality, I'll spend money on a gun but not a camera. Got my New Agent on the right for comparison.

Nice find at the gunshow! I'm still looking for a CCO to add to the Colt stable.

I didn't even know Colt had recently made CCOs, limited edition or not, so it was a bit of a shock to find out I was holding one in my hands. I really thought it was just a standard blued Commander and I couldn't figure out why they had originally wanted $1200 for it (it was marked down to $999).

I can't wait to get this thing to the range! I think I'll be retiring my New Agent to the safe if it runs right.

I picked up a Colt/TALO New Agent last year because I really liked the XS sights on it. Would love to see a CCO come set up that way or with a set of Novak's.
