Can anyone tell me the approximate diameter of the pin that holds the safety lever on? I don't have an accurate method of measuring the hole and don't need a large assortment of rod.
Edit: should have been Sako. No glasses and fat fingers

You need more than an approximate diameter. If no one has the answer, pick up a few drill bits close to that diameter and find the one that fits. Cut the shank off the one that fits to make the pin. Then use the other bits for whatever you need to ventilate.

Yep!
I was gonna suggest a number drill bit set.
Maybe take the pin to an auto shop or hardware and have them measure it.
Then buy a drill bit the same size.
The shank part will make an excellent pin.
