I have an old George Lawrence Challenger holster, model number 1-C B 552.
Can anyone tell me for what pistol this was made? I seem to remember that it fir a Smith and Wesson semiautomatic but I may be wrong.

Should be for a S&W Model 41 .22 Target auto with 7 3/8" barrel & muzzle brake.
Challenger model in basket-weave.

Sold for $6.75 new in 1967, went up to $8.20 in 1970.
