Private Gun Show

I was talking to a friend the other day about some guns I was considering selling due to having multiple rifles in .222 - .223 and 22-250. He said his FIL was interested and could they come by. So I laid a selection out on a workbench under my carport and he and his Dad and FIL came by. Wound up making $1000.00 off of all of them by the time they were through.

I did Texasguntrader Monday, put up an inline muzzle loader; couple of Ruger Vaqueros in .357 and an Ak-47. Sold them for right at $2000, I'm sure we are both happy people today.
I'm reinvesting in suppressors.
Whatcha gonna spend your new found wealth on?

I don't get it...where was the government involved? :scrutiny:
You're not seriously trying to tell me that you offered goods to people, who then made choices on their own regarding quality, price, and appropriateness, and who furthermore made a decision on their own as to what was in their best interest with nobody in the government involved?
It sounds to me like you are describing a "free market" but I didn't think those existed anymore.
All kidding aside...it's nice when it works like it should. You're happy, the customer is happy, and you made a little money too.

Be careful lest the gummit decide you are "dealing" and then they WILL become involved. :uhoh:
Agreed, nice to see some guns find a new home where they may be "exercised" more than they might have been in your cold, dark safe.
