As I have been getting back into bowhunting I have recently been spending a lot of time on archerytalk, and especially like their DIY forum I know we have the gunsmithing forum but why no general firearm/hunting DIY forum?

Do you mean for the sorts of things that are locally referred to as "redneck engineering?"

I was actually thinking more along the lines of a dedicated forum to show building of reloading benches, shooting benches, guncases, and tasteful safe modification to existing gear to better suit your purposes.

ETA: I guess you could call that last one "redneck engineering"

ETAA: If there is any reason for not having one I'm ok with that but it never hurts to ask.

I was thinking more along the lines of these

I know these are all hunting related but its kind of hard to find firearm related material on an archery site.

Those are typically covered in General and in Accessories.

Yeah I know I was just thinking it would be nice to have a specific place to put them rather than scattered in several different areas. Oh well it was just a thought.
