This is one of my better experiences doing a private trade/sale of firearms. I got to meet a really cool guy, got some great pistols in trade for my rifle, and didn't have to wait, pay taxes, or fill out paperwork. What have your experiences been like?

It's been a long time since I last bought a gun from a gun shop. Nearly all of my transactions are now face to face. (Once in a while I might ship out or receive a gun shipped in, but it's rare -- as there are too many good deals available, either locally, or within an hour's drive.)
