Family Day at the Range

I took the family out to the shooting range this weekend. All in all it was a blast but being the one with the most experience by far it was exhausting. The video is not the greatest because I had to keep helping everyone. lol But hey everyone had a good time and there is nothing like shooting with the family.

After shooting open sights for a year I decided to get my son a cheap little scope from Walmart and put it on his Mossberg .22. He loved it. lol

I think my wife and my mom decided they like the LC9 a lot better than the LCR. There was some training that went on. Dad hasn't shot a pistol in 30+ years. Almost got his thumb knocked off until I corrected him. Mom was shooting at the floor a few times. lol.

I think everyone liked shooting my Walther PPQ .40 the best.

Critiques are of course welcomed. We can always learn new things.

+1 on that. I shoot with both my teenage sons every week. The downside is that it costs a fortune! My ammo budget tripled last year! Thank god for .22 rifles and pistols plus cheap 5.45x39!

moundman, out here we don't pay any range fees, unless ya want to shoot in Las Vegas. Most everybody out here is pretty cool, and we all take turns shooting: We have plenty of room also and most all of the regular shooters have there own portable shooting bench, range finders, chronogaphs, etc. I'd figure, out in N.C. you'd have plenty of areas to shoot, unless you're in the middle of a big city/metropolis.;)

Yeah we are pretty close to Charlotte. 15-20 miles with nothing but cities in between. I would love to live out there.
